Think about your company. Now think about what your most valuable asset is. Any guesses? It (hopefully) is your employees. The people that work for a company are the most knowledgeable about what you do. They are also usually extremely passionate about what they do. They can be brand advocates for you. They keep your business running efficiently and keep your customers happy.
Many know the obvious benefits employee videos can make to HR for recruitment. That’s no surprise. But employee videos as part of a video marketing strategy aren’t utilized as often as they could be. But why not? Companies frequently do testimonial videos. But are you going to feature a testimonial video of a client who wasn’t already a brand advocate? Probably not. Testimonial videos are valuable to a robust video marketing strategy for sure. But employee videos add a deeper layer because the viewer is able to get a “peek” inside your company. Viewers can identify with your company more because they can get to know the people behind it. It becomes personal.
There are few people who know your company as well as your own employees. Most viewers can benefit from the expertise only your employees are able to share.

Wasn’t it reassuring? To know that the employees of a vendor are driven to see YOU succeed? Any software is supposed to work for you, that’s a given. But to know the people behind it are actively working to help you prosper as well, that’s powerful. Especially when it’s authentic and that passion comes through so crystal clear.
