The Adventures of Captain Inbound – Episode Two
This is part two of an original animated web series for HubSpot. The concept behind the video was to create a “Captain Planet” inspired fully animated cartoon where by using inbound marketing techniques the “hero” was able to save the day.
HubSpot creates content management software (CMS) for small businesses to build a web site using their inbound marketing platform. They also “practiced what they preach” by posting the animation on their blog, they built a custom landing page for the series to reside (oh yes…there will be more), started a fan page on Facebook and launched a Twitter account for Captain Inbound.
The video also was a 2011 winner of two Telly Awards for Best Business to Business Online Video Campaign and Best Use of Animation in an Online Marketing Video.
